We are very excited to announce the start of the SECC Farmers Market that will bring great food, crafts, and entertainment to the Southeast Community Center on Thursday June 1st 2023 at 3pm. This weekly event will provide wonderful local produce and healthy retail items to the community. This market is being done in partnership with Dragonspunk GRO.
Dragonspunk GRO's mission is to apply the methodologies of environmental rehabilitation to meet the challenges of food
insecurity, urban blight, environmental injustice, soil depletion, carbon footprint reduction, community building, plant and animal habitat restoration.
The market will take place in our parking lot, so please plan your transportation with that in mind. We encourage using public transit to attend the market. There will also be entertainment, community workshops and lots of free gifts including free fruit trees (while supplies last). Please help us spread the word and we look forward to seeing you there!
